The President participated in the opening ceremony of the 2022 academic activities at the Ernesto Che Guevara Educational Unit, in the city of Sucre.

President Luis Arce inaugurated the 2022 school management this Tuesday morning, with the promise of creating 2,500 items for teachers.

"This year we are going to exceed 2,500 items throughout the country, for our teachers, to improve educational quality," Arce announced, in his inaugural speech, which began almost two hours late, at the Ernesto Che Guevara Educational Unit, from Sucre.

The president recalled that in 2020 it was decided to close school management early and that last year his administration made efforts to create items and guarantee access to education.

"In 2021, with a lot of effort we will create 1,700 new items for new teachers and this year, sisters and brothers, we will exceed 2,500 items throughout the country," insisted the President.

The present management was named by the Government as the "Year of the cultural revolution for depatriarchalization". Thus, the official start of school activities took place throughout the country, with the presence of different authorities.

In Sucre, in addition to the president, the Minister of Education, Édgar Pary, was present, who assured that this year "quality education" will be sought.

"In this fourth wave (of the pandemic) we are going to overcome and protect the health of our children, young people and young ladies, and we are also going to develop quality education," the authority said.
